Since we founded Ratbag in August 2022, a number of state governments and other public agencies stepped up to provide free RAT services. In 2023 we’ve received very few new orders.
As a result, we will not be accepting new orders from June 1st, 2023.

We distribute free rapid antigen tests to people who can’t afford to buy them.
how to get ’em
For verification, our request form will ask you to upload your concession or healthcare card and supporting documents. Please email us via hello@ratbag.org if you don’t have these documents or have any trouble completing the form.
Once we have your request we will fulfil it as soon as possible, usually within 4 days pending volunteer capacity and available stock.

need more rats?
We are sending RATs in bundles of 5. We are an unfunded organisation operating solely on community donations. If you need more than 5 RATs, please email hello@ratbag.org outlining your situation, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Your information is not retained by ratbag and is stored in an encrypted format.
We use a third party service to ensure your details are safe and stored in accordance with Australian law and best practice. Your documents will be deleted once your request is processed.
